SAND ROCK – Macy Martin tossed a one-hitter through five innings with no walks and 11 strikeouts in Sand Rock’s 10-0 softball shutout of Spring Garden on Tuesday.

Molly Grace Lay delivered three hits, including a triple, with three runs and two RBIs for the Lady Wildcats (20-15). Raven Todd tallied two hits, a run, and a RBI. Emma Sipsy homered, walked, scored two runs, and had a RBI. Aubie Camp doubled and scored a run.

Alyvia McMichen contributed a hit and drove in a pair of runs. Taylyn Warren finished with a hit and scored a run.

Maya Jennings had the lone hit for Spring Garden (9-17). Kendall Birchfield suffered the loss.

Spring Garden is at Cedar Bluff on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. Sand Rock plays in a tournament at Plainview on Friday and Saturday.
