Reynolds leads Gaylesville softball past Coosa Christian

GADSDEN – Lydia Reynolds went 3-for-5 at the plate, including an inside-the-park home run in the third inning. She also allowed no earned runs on two hits with two walks and five strikeouts in leading the Gaylesville Lady Trojans to a 16-6 area softball win at Coosa Christian on Monday.

Charlee Sentell went 2-for-4 at the plate with four runs for the Lady Trojans (7-10). Briley Mitchell and Bayleigh Ratliff were both 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBIs. One of Ratliff’s hits was a triple.

MaKenlee Young and Adalyn Lusk both contributed a double, a run, and a RBI. Kylie Canada collected a hit, a walk, two runs, and two RBIs. Aubree Colbert came away with a hit, a run, and two RBIs. Isabella Grande finished with a hit and scored a run.

Gaylesville is at Valley Head on Thursday.
