SAND ROCK – Emma Sipsy had a perfect night at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a pair of triples, four runs, and two RBIs in leading the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 10-2 area softball win over Gaston on Tuesday.

Alyvia McMichen went 3-for-4 with a double, a run, and four RBIs for the Lady Wildcats (19-13). Macy Martin was 2-for-3 with a walk, a run, and a RBI. Madison Walker also went 2-for-3 with a walk.

Molly Grace Lay tripled, walked, and scored two runs. Raven Todd doubled and drove in a run. Taylyn Warren finished with a hit. Aubie Camp scored twice and drove in a run.

Martin worked five innings in the circle. She allowed an earned run on two hits with four walks and nine strikeouts. Sipsy tossed two innings and gave up an earned run on a pair of hits with no walks and three strikeouts.

Sand Rock travels to Pleasant Valley on Thursday at 5 p.m.
