CHEROKEE COUNTY – Units with McCord’s, Spring Creek, and Ellisville Fire Departments were dispatched just after 7:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon to a reported RV fire at an address on County Road 446 in the Osceola community.

While en route, responding units received updates indicating the RV was fully involved in fire, with a nearby haybarn also reported to be in danger.

Engine 55 arrived on scene within 11 minutes and immediately initiated a defensive fire attack.

At the time of this report, the exact cause of the blaze had not been determined. However, firefighters noted the RV was connected to a battery charger at the time of the incident.
