SYLVANIA – The Collinsville Lady Panthers scored a pair of runs in the top of the eighth inning and held on for a 10-9 area softball win at Sylvania on Monday.

Gabriella Whitmore went 3-for-5 at the plate with a home run, a double, three runs, and five RBIs for Collinsville (16-13). Aubrey Reeves was also 3-for-5 with a home run, three runs, and three RBIs. Lexii Burt also contributed three hits, including a double, with a RBI.

Maelee Barkley went 2-for-4 with a walk and three runs. Halle Peek posted a hit, a walk, and a run. Jemma Smith finished with a hit and a walk. Ella Coker walked and drove in a run.

Bella Wills worked two innings and allowed three earned runs on four hits with no walks and a pair of strikeouts. Smith pitched six innings and gave up six earned runs on nine hits with a walk and three strikeouts.
