ATTALLA — The Attalla Police Department is recognizing two newly graduated officers following completion of basic training at the Northeast Alabama Law Enforcement Academy.

Officers Trinton O’Dell and John Carney graduated from the academy after completing 14 weeks of rigorous law enforcement training.

Both officers are now entering Field Training, where they will apply the skills and instruction gained during the academy in real-world policing duties within the community.

Department officials welcomed the new officers and noted that their training marks the beginning of their service with the Attalla Police Department.
