Mr. David Ray Sayre, age 76, of Collinsville, passed away April 5, 2026.

Funeral Service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Richard Bruce officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11 am until time of service at 12 noon.  Burial will follow in New Bethel Cemetery.

Mr. Sayre is survived by his son, Charles (Regina) Nelson, son-in-law, Bill Lorenz, and sister, Jackie Sayre Twilley; along with grandchildren, Rayley (Gavin) Simmons, Hunter Duke, and Sean Duke, and great-grandchild, Reece Simmons.

He is preceded in death by his first wife, Margie Kasparek, and second wife, Linda Butler; mother, Margaret Alice Sayre, daughter, Cathy Lorenz, and brother-in-law, DelmasTwilley.

Mr. Sayre was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church.
