McCord’s Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department to Host Spring Bar-B-Que April 19
CENTRE — The McCord’s Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual Spring Bar-B-Que on Sunday, April 19, 2026, inviting the community to come out and support the local department.
The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. and continue until the food is gone at Station No. 1, located at 1150 County Road 157 in Centre.
Plates will include barbecue chicken halves, baked beans, potato salad, bread, a drink, and dessert, with a $12 donation per plate requested.
The fire department is located on County Road 157 in the McCord’s Crossroads community, between County Road 16 and U.S. Highway 411.
Proceeds from the event will help support the volunteer fire department and its ongoing efforts to serve and protect the community.
