Sand Rock’s Sipsy no-hits Spring Garden; Lady Wildcats fall to Pisgah in Gadsden Umpires Tournament

RAINSVILLE – The Sand Rock Lady Wildcats blanked Spring Garden 5-0 behind a no-hit performance from Emma sipsy and fell to Pisgah 9-0 in the Gadsden Umpires Tournament on Friday.

In the win over Spring Garden, Sipsy struck out eight in the circle. She also led the Lady Wildcats at the plate by going 2-for-2 with a home run, a walk, two runs, and a RBI. Madison Walker went 2-for-3 with a triple.

Taylyn Warren was 1-for-2 with a walk and two runs. Macy Martin managed a hit and a run. Aubie Camp contributed a hit.

In the loss to Pisgah, Camp and Sipsy had the lone hits for the Lady Wildcats.

Sand Rock takes on Plainview in the tournament at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
