In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Melissa Barron, age 41 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a court order.

Justin Norris, age 38 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation.

Ronnie Thrift, age 54 of Leesburg, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on a charge of domestic violence 3rd degree harassing communication.

Okechukwu Ehiogu, age 38 of Centre, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on a charge of harassment.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 77 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
