In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Jimmie Shepherd, age 42 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, 1st degree unlawful possession of marijuana, and for failure to appear on three previous charges.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 76 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
