Anglers Claim Prizes in Weiss Lake Crappie Rodeo

Several anglers have already claimed prizes in the Weiss Lake Crappie Rodeo. William Cox of Cave Springs brought in a tagged crappie worth $50 to Wisons Store in Kirk’s Grove. Lynn Sisson from Cedar Bluff claimed a $50 crappie at Cowan Creek Lodges, and Delmar Vineyard of Maryville, Tennessee turned in a $50 tagged fish at Bay Springs Marina.

The Crappie Rodeo at Weiss Lake continues through April 30th. Anglers who wish to claim a prize for catching a tagged crappie must get a Bounty Badge from one of the participating merchants around the lake before fishing. For more information on the Crappie Rodeo, contact the Weiss Lake Improvement Association or any participating merchant.
