GADSDEN – Emma Sipsy homered, doubled, walked, and scored all three Sand Rock runs in the Lady Wildcats’ 3-0 softball win at Gaston on Thursday.

Sipsy also earned the win in the circle. She tossed 5 1/3 innings and allowed two hits and two walks with eight strikeouts. Macy Martin worked 1 2/3 innings of no-hit ball with three strikeouts.

Raven Todd contributed a hit and a RBI for Sand Rock. Alyvia McMichen, Kinzlee Peek, and Madison Walker each drew a walk.

Sand Rock plays Ranburne and Munford at the Lincoln tournament at the Lincoln Sports Complex on Friday.
