GAYLESVILLE – The Gaylesville Lady Trojans scored 10 runs in the bottom of the first inning and five more in the bottom of the second to take a 15-0 area softball win over visiting Coosa Christian on Thursday.

MaKenlee Young blasted a 3-run inside-the-park home run in the first for the Lady Trojans (2-1). She also picked up the win in the circle after allowing just two hits with no walks and eight strikeouts.

Adalyn Lusk added an inside-the-park home run in the first. Aubree Colbert tripled, drove in a run, and stole two bases. Lydia Reynolds doubled and drove in a run. Kylie Canada walked and had a RBI. Chloe Collins drove in a run.

Brooklyn Mitchell delivered a two-run double in the second inning.

Gaylesville host Jacksonville Christian on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
