CEDAR BLUFF – The Cedar Bluff Lady Tigers pounded out 14 hits in a 5-3 softball win over visiting Collinsville on Tuesday.
Paityn Walker led the Lady Tigers (2-4) at the plate. She went 2-for-3 and drove in a pair of runs. Kylie Vadon, Ciana Smith, Paityn Walker, and Piper Cromer also contributed a pair of hits each for the Lady Tigers.
Mackenzie Kimmons earned the win in the circle. She allowed three runs on nine hits with a walk and six strikeouts.
Jemma Smith went 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs for the Lady Panthers (1-3). Carlee Davis and Lexii Burt also had a pair of hits for Collinsville.
Brayleigh Smith suffered the loss. She surrendered all five Lady Tiger runs on 14 hits with three walks and five strikeouts in six innings.
Cedar Bluff is at Pleasant Valley on Thursday. Collinsville is at Spring Garden next Tuesday.
