In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Roger Patty, age 59 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Michael Ball, age 39 of Birmingham, was arrested by the Centre Police Department on charges of the unlawful possession of a controlled substance and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 77 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
