Etowah County Sheriff’s Office Releases January Patrol Statistics

ETOWAH COUNTY — The Etowah County Sheriff’s Office has released its Patrol Division statistics for January, highlighting the scope of law enforcement activity conducted across the county’s nearly 550 square miles.

According to the report, deputies responded to 321 calls for service during the month and completed 148 incident reports. The Patrol Division made 39 arrests and issued 13 citations or warnings.

In addition, deputies served 29 warrants and handled a significant volume of civil process work, serving 1,930 civil papers throughout the county.

Proactive patrol efforts also remained a priority, with deputies conducting 959 nightly business checks aimed at deterring crime and enhancing public safety. The division logged approximately 33,000 miles in transport-related travel during January.

Sheriff’s officials said the monthly snapshot reflects the around-the-clock efforts of deputies who respond to calls, assist citizens and work to protect communities across Etowah County.
