Dogtown Spring Community Market Set for March 7–8 at Ruhama Junior High School
Dogtown- The Dogtown Spring Community Market will return to Ruhama Junior High School on Saturday, March 7, and Sunday, March 8, offering a weekend of family-friendly activities, local shopping and community fellowship.
The two-day event, held at the same location as the annual Dogtown Community Christmas Market, will bring together families, local businesses and residents from across DeKalb County, Cherokee County and surrounding communities. Activities will include a silent auction, basket raffle, Split the Pot fundraiser, egg painting station and an egg hunt scheduled for Sunday. Local vendors will offer outdoor shopping throughout the weekend.
A Community Pot Luck Dinner will be held Sunday at 2 p.m., providing an opportunity for attendees to gather and enjoy fellowship together.
All proceeds from fundraising activities will directly benefit Ruhama Junior High School, helping provide essential resources and support for students.
Event hours are Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the potluck dinner immediately following. Ruhama Junior High School is located across from Akins Furniture, providing a convenient and recognizable landmark for visitors traveling from the surrounding region.
Organizers are continuing to accept vendors for outdoor spaces. Vendor applications are available at cottonpickineverything.com.
Adding a touch of seasonal fun, “Lucky McDogtown,” the event’s leprechaun, will be hidden in one of the vendor booths. Guests may begin their search at the Welcome Booth, where the first clue will be provided.
