Update: Day Street in Centre Reopened Following Repairs

CENTRE, Ala. — Day Street in Centre has reopened to traffic following the completion of repairs in the area.

According to the City of Centre, all work that prompted the closure has now been completed. The street, which had been closed  while repairs were made, is once again open to motorists.

Officials thank the public for their patience during the repair process.
