Documents Shed More Light on Jesse Battles Removal From Ballot and Detail the Challenge

New documents related to the ballot challenge that led to the removal of State Senate District 10 candidate Jesse Battles from the Republican primary ballot have been acquired by WEIS.

Following the recent decision by the Alabama Republican Party Steering Committee to remove Battles from the race, questions have remained about the process, the allegations involved, and the defense presented on his behalf.

WEIS has obtained documents both  connected to Battles’ defense in the ballot challenge , and additional details and documents that were filed in the ballot challenge.  The files, which are available in PDF format, provide additional insight into the proceedings and the arguments presented during the challenge process.
