Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office January Patrol Statistics

Centre- The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office released its patrol statistics for January 2026, highlighting law enforcement activity across the county during the first month of the year.

According to the report, deputies responded to 255 calls for service and completed 108 incident and offense reports. Patrol units also served 59 warrants and carried out 18 warrantless arrests during the month.

In addition, deputies made 40 civil attempts and successfully served 147 civil papers.

Travel and patrol coverage remained extensive. The Sheriff’s Office reported 1,199 trip miles and a total of 21,930 miles patrolled throughout January.

Sheriff Jeff Shaver said the agency remains committed to serving Cherokee County’s nearly 600 square miles of land and water in an ongoing effort to improve quality of life and keep residents safe.
