Multi-Vehicle Crash Closes Alabama 79 in Blount County
Blount County-A multi-vehicle crash Thursday morning has shut down a section of Alabama 79 in Blount County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.
The crash occurred at approximately 7:23 a.m. on Feb. 12 near Fred Terry Road. Authorities report that both lanes of Alabama 79 are currently blocked and will remain closed for an undetermined amount of time.
Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are on scene monitoring the situation and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
