In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

James Eller, age 38 of Douglasville, Georgia, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on charges of two counts of SORNA violation.

Amanda Dodson, age 39 of Trion, Georgia, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on two previous charges.

Billy Tucker, age 47 of Collinsville, was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department for failure to appear on four previous charges.

Charles Russell, age 56 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 3rd degree assault.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 95 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
