SAND ROCK — The Sand Rock Wildcats held off Pleasant Valley 46-43 in area basketball action on Friday.

Jaxon Bruce led the Wildcats with 12 points, two steals, and a rebound. Jonas Browder added 10 points, five boards, and four assists.

Will Cleere contributed eight points, six rebounds, an assist, and a steal. Elijah Hood also had eight points, five steals, four rebounds, and two assists. Wyatt Miller finished with five points and seven rebounds.

Braxton Salster led the Raiders with 11 points. Jameson Humphrey tallied 10 points. Cooper Dougal delivered eight points. Greer Laros added seven points. Brody Barnwell finished with five points.

Sand Rock led 5-4 after one and trailed 21-20 at halftime. Pleasant Valley maintained a 30-27 lead after three quarters. Sand Rock outscored the Raiders 19-13 in the fourth for the final.
