Anniston Police Department Conducts Scheduled Training Exercise in Weaver

Weaver-The Anniston Police Department’s Special Response Team will conduct a scheduled training exercise today at Cornerstone Fellowship Church in Weaver. During the exercise, residents may notice a significant presence of law enforcement vehicles, personnel, and specialized equipment in the area.

This activity is part of routine training, and there is no threat or danger to the public.

The Anniston Police Department thanks the Weaver Police Department for its assistance with coordination and support during the training, as well as Cornerstone Fellowship Church for allowing the use of its property. The department values its ongoing partnerships with neighboring agencies to ensure readiness and enhance public safety.
