Hokes Bluff SRO Honored with nSide Achievement Award
ETOWAH COUNTY — Officer Robbie Deason has been recognized as a recipient of the nSide School Resource Officer (SRO) Achievement Award, an honor presented to officers who demonstrate exceptional commitment to the safety, well-being, and success of students and school staff.

Officer Deason serves as the School Resource Officer at Hokes Bluff Elementary School and Hokes Bluff Middle School. According to Etowah County Schools, he is widely regarded as an integral part of the school community, known for his consistent presence and positive engagement with students and faculty.
Through daily interactions, Officer Deason works to foster a safe and welcoming learning environment while building strong, meaningful relationships across both campuses. School officials noted that his approachability and dedication help create a sense of security and encouragement for students, contributing positively to the overall school climate.
