Mr. Jerry Brant Sharp, age 83 of Orlando, FL, passed away on December 13, 2025, at Advent Health Orlando.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16th, at Neal Hill Cemetery, with Dr. Jeremy Deaton officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Lee Brodie; Son, Christopher Sharp; Step-daughters, Sarah Moursalien and Deborah (Fouad) Alalou; Grandchildren, Jennifer, Clayton, Gabby, Emily, Angela, Zaara, Amir, Youssef, and Elias; Great-grandchild, Eli.
Pallbearers are Christopher Sharp, Fouad Alalou and Jim Metro.
Mr. Sharp was born in Birmingham, AL to the late William Clayton and Eunice Elizabeth Sharp. He achieved his Master’s Degree as an engineer in physics, and retired from Northrop Grumman. Jerry had a passion for football, especially the Alabama Crimson Tide. He spent many years as a highschool football official. Every day, you could find Jerry walking his dog for 3 miles and enjoying breakfast with whichever pup joined him that day (leftovers were never overlooked).
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Elizabeth Jane Sharp, and his son, Clayton Brant Sharp, SR.
Cherokee Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
