In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:
Steven Hardy, age 40 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a grand jury indictment for the unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
Fredrick Diamond, age 44 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on four previous charges.
Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 101 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
