Cedar Bluff Police Department Announces Passing of K9 Officer Draco
Cedar Bluff-The Cedar Bluff Police Department has announced the passing of K9 Officer Draco, whose End of Watch was December 4, 2025. Draco served the department alongside his handler, Sgt. Jamie Chatman.
According to the department, Draco was a reliable and dedicated K9 partner who played an important role in daily operations. Officers described him as a protector and a valued member of the team.
A statement from the department included a prayer offering thanks for Draco’s service and asking for comfort for Sgt. Chatman, his family, and the Cedar Bluff Police Department during this time. The department noted that Draco was considered part of the family and that his loss is felt deeply.
