PIEDMONT— Maddie Clanton collected 21 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, and three assists in leading the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 61-48 basketball win at Piedmont on Thursday.
Macey Pruitt posted 17 points, six steals, and five rebounds for the Lady Wildcats (5-2). Kaylee Burns contributed 15 points and six rebounds. Hadlie Weaver finished with six points.
Sand Rock hosts Cedar Bluff on Tuesday to start area play.
