Challenger Learning Center Launches “Sojourners Campaign” to Support STEM Education
Rainbow City-The Challenger Learning Center of Northeast Alabama has announced the launch of its Sojourners Campaign, a special year-end giving initiative aimed at strengthening STEM education and boosting long-term workforce development across the region.
Through December 31, 2025, community members are invited to contribute gifts of any amount to support the Center’s mission of inspiring students through hands-on, space-themed learning experiences. Funds raised will help expand educational programs, enhance mission simulations, and provide opportunities for students who may not otherwise have access to advanced STEM resources.
As part of the campaign, all donors who participate by December 31 will be permanently recognized on the Center’s Sojourner Wall, located inside the facility. The display will serve as a lasting tribute to individuals, families, and businesses investing in STEM education for Northeast Alabama students.

“We’re inviting the community to join us as Sojourners—partners who believe in sparking curiosity, fueling innovation, and opening doors of opportunity for young people,” the Center said in its campaign announcement. “Every contribution helps strengthen the region’s future workforce and supports long-term economic growth.”
