Four Arrested on Drug Charges Following St. Clair County Search Warrants

ASHVILLE — The St. Clair County Drug Enforcement Unit arrested four people Friday following the execution of two narcotics search warrants in the Ashville area, according to a press release from Sheriff Billy J. Murray.
The operation, conducted on November 21, resulted in the seizure of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a firearm. Officers from the Odenville, Ashville and Pell City police departments assisted, along with deputies from the Sheriff’s Patrol Division and members of the St. Clair County SWAT Team.
Those arrested include:

Darrell R. Shepherd, 25, of Ashville, charged with four counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Shepherd was booked into the St. Clair County Jail in Pell City on a $121,500 bond.

Nikki M. Carlisle, 40, of Odenville, charged with one count of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Carlisle was booked into the jail on a $33,000 bond.

Kasey Rhoades, 31, of Ashville, charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $3,500.

Jonathan L. Henderson, 44, of Ashville, charged with second-degree possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked on a $1,500 bond.

The Sheriff’s Office noted that bonds, where applicable, are set by the courts following the state’s legislatively approved bond schedule.
The investigation remains ongoing.
