Sen. Andrew Jones Presents Funding for Classroom Grants and School Projects in DeKalb County
DeKalb County-State Sen. Andrew Jones recently visited DeKalb County Schools to deliver funding aimed at supporting teachers and enhancing educational opportunities across the district. During the visit, Jones presented a check that will provide grants to 187 classroom teachers, each receiving $100 to purchase supplies for their students.

In addition to the individual teacher grants, every school in the district will receive $5,000 to fund a special project of its choosing.
Jones said he was proud to return taxpayer dollars to benefit local classrooms and expressed appreciation for the work of educators throughout DeKalb County. The senator emphasized that the funding is intended to help strengthen learning environments and support both teachers and students.
