Deputies Recover Vehicle Stolen From Chattanooga in Gaylesville

Gaylesville- According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, over the weekend, deputies went to 540 County Road 125 in Gaylesville to serve an arrest warrant on Nicholas Pannell. Pannell was taken into custody without incident.
While on the property, deputies observed a female sitting inside a vehicle. After several unsuccessful attempts to identify her, deputies determined she had provided a false name. She was later identified as Haley Neal, who was found to have eight active warrants through the Sheriff’s Office. Deputies also discovered that the vehicle Neal was sitting in had been reported stolen out of Chattanooga, Tennessee. A search of the vehicle additionally uncovered illegal substances. Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.
