McCord’s Crossroads Homemakers Club to Honor Founder Mrs. Edna Jo Jennings
The McCord’s Crossroads Homemakers Club invites the community to join them in celebrating and honoring one of their beloved founders, Mrs. Edna Jo Jennings. The Garden to Glory Celebration will take place on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at 2 p.m. (Central Time) at the Hopewell Community Center – Crossroads Garden, located at 7290 County Road 16 in Centre, Alabama.
The program will include a special time of reflection, gratitude, and a memorial dedication in honor of Mrs. Jennings, whose vision and leadership helped shape the McCord’s Crossroads Homemakers Club into what it is today.
Following the ceremony, fellowship and refreshments will be held in the Kerr Building, offering family, friends, and community members an opportunity to share memories and celebrate the lasting impact Mrs. Jennings had on the organization and the local community.
Funding for the event is made possible by the Community Foundation of Northeast Alabama and Nature’s Sacred.
