Cherokee County Board of Education to Meet November 13

CENTRE, Ala. — The Cherokee County Board of Education will hold its next regular meeting on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at the Board of Education Central Office, located at 200 Armory Road in Centre.
The meeting agenda includes several key items, including the election of board officers, review of the district’s accountability report card, and consideration of multiple proposals and approvals related to operations and personnel.
Among the scheduled topics are:

Election of a Board President and Vice President

Review of updated travel procedures

Consideration of proposals from Rosemont Consulting Services, LLC and Badgepass, Inc.

Approval of Cedar Bluff property demolition

Review and approval of personnel actions, professional development, and current job postings
The Board will also receive the September 2025 financial report and consider approval of the October 6, 2025 meeting minutes.
The meeting will begin with an opening prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance, and an opportunity for public comments. Superintendent updates and other business will conclude the session.
