In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Brent Sloman, age 48 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of methamphetamine possession and the use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.

Justin Thompson, age 35 of Gaylesville, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of conditional release violation court order.

Morgan Spears, age 28 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of criminal trespassing enters and remains on premises and 3rd degree criminal trespassing.

Jon Hunter, age 22 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Dennis Haughey, age 60 of Centre, was arrested by the Cedar Bluff Police Department for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 96 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
