Gaylesville Homecoming Parade Set for October 1st
Galyesville- Gaylesville will celebrate its annual 8th Annual Homecoming Parade on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, beginning at 5:00 p.m., with line-up next to the track and baseball field.
The parade will start at the intersection of Oak Street and Highway 68, travel through the Gaylesville four-way, turn onto Highway 35, and make its way back to Oak Street, ending at the new gym.
Following the parade, the community is invited to enjoy a free chili and hot dog meal at the football field. The meal is sponsored by The Colbert Firm. There will also be a chili cook-off with the the winner receiving will receive a $30 Walmart gift card. Anyone interested in entering the chili contest, may contact Kayla Bass at 256-706-1735.
Organizers encourage everyone to come out, take part in the festivities, and show support for the community and its students.
The Trojans will host the Ider Hornets for homecoming on Friday, Oct. 3, at Roy Knapp, Sr. Field at Trojan Stadium with kickoff set for 7 p.m.
