In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Timothy Waits, age 48 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of 3rd degree domestic violence.

Steve Aderholt, age 63 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on three previous charges.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 96 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
