Warriors win fourth straight football game with 34-18 victory over White Plains

CENTRE – The Cherokee County Warriors won their fourth straight football game Friday night with a 34-18 victory over White Plains in Class 4A, Region 6 action.

The Warriors (4-1, 3-0) improved to 10-0 in the all-time series with the Wildcats (1-3, 0-3).

Keyshawn Woods led Cherokee County with 223 yards on 27 carries with three touchdowns. Adam Griffith was 4-of-7 passing for 85 yards and a score to Ben Moseley. Moseley caught a pair of passes for 50 yards and a touchdown. Kadyn Coleman added 23 yards and a touchdown on four carries.

Crew Martin led White Plains by completing 13-of-21 pass attempts for 123 yards. He also ran for 17 yards and a touchdown on five carries.

The Warriors led 20-11 at halftime.
