CENTRE – Sand Rock split a volleyball tri-match with Cherokee County and Anniston on Tuesday. The Lady Wildcats lost to Cherokee County 19-25, 19-25, but defeated Anniston 25-15, 25-6 to improve to 12-11 on the season.
For the night, Megan Smith delivered 10 kills and 14 digs. Maddie Clanton contributed 23 assists. Paitlyn Hughes had five kills and 13 digs. Emma Sipsy also posted five kills. Macey Pruitt finished with four kills and two blocks.
Sand Rock is at Fyffe on Monday.
