Sand Rock School to Host Ribbon Cutting for New STEM Center
Sand Rock – A celebration is set for Friday, September 26, 2025, as Sand Rock School hosts the ribbon cutting of the new Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation STEM Center, made possible through the support of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA).
The event begins at 9:00 a.m. at Sand Rock School, located at 1950 Sand Rock Avenue, Sand Rock, AL 35983.
Students will showcase new STEM tools and technology during the ceremony, while community leaders highlight the impact of TVA’s investment in science, technology, engineering, and math education. Light refreshments will be provided.
