Cherokee County High School football game against Shades Valley moved to Sept. 25

CENTRE – Cherokee County High School’s home football game against Class 6A Shades Valley has been moved.

The game was originally scheduled for Friday, Sept. 26 and will now be played on Thursday, Sept. 25, according to Cherokee County High School Principal Bobby Tittle.

The Class 4A, No. 4 Warriors are 2-1 on the season. They travel to Region 6 rival Etowah (0-2) this Friday before hosting White Plains (1-1) on Sept.19.

Shades Valley (1-2) hosts Clay-Chalkville (3-0) on Friday and is at Pinson Valley (2-1) on Sept.19.
