Cherokee County EMA & 911 to Host Public Safety Night Sept. 29
Centre, Ala. – The Cherokee County Emergency Management Agency and 911 are inviting the community to a free, family-friendly Public Safety Night on Monday, September 29, at 5:30 p.m.
The event will take place at Centre Fire Station #1, located at 421 East Main Street.
Public Safety Night offers residents the chance to meet the first responders who serve Cherokee County, including firefighters, EMS providers, rescue personnel, police officers, sheriff’s deputies, and EMA staff. Attendees will also be able to explore emergency vehicles and equipment up close.
In addition to the exhibits and demonstrations, the evening will feature free food and limited free T-shirts while supplies last. Safety information and educational resources will also be available for all ages.
Organizers say the event is a celebration of the partnerships that keep the community safe, ready, and resilient.
The event is free and open to the public.
