In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for the previous 24 hours:

Tony McGuire, age 66 of Centre, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on charges of methamphetamine possession, the possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstructing justice false ID.

Wayne Poole, age 51 of Piedmont, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on hold for another agency.

Michael Schuette, age 44 of Anniston, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office on a charge of revoked bond.

Timothy Graham, age 41 of Gadsden, was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a previous charge.

Arrests are based on probable cause; all subjects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Currently, there are a total of 95 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
