Units with Spring Creek, McCords Crossroads, and Ellisville Fire Departments responded to a House Fire on County Road 40 at 12:05 pm Sunday.
Spring Creek Fire Chief Jamey Walker tells WEIS Radio News heavy smoke was observed coming from a back room and roof ridgeline when firemen arrived on the scene. Firefighters battled the blaze until it was brought under control and extinguished. The structure suffered extensive damage to the roof.
No one was home at the time of the blaze.
No injuries were reported.
