Mrs. Jan Marie Mitchell, age 53 of Leesburg, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2025 at DeKalb Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Friday, August 1, 2025 in the Perry Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00PM till the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
Ms. Mitchell is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Glen Mitchell; son Dustin Mitchell (Ashley), Matthew Mitchell (Abigail) and Andrew Mitchell; daughter, Anna Mitchell; 2 sisters; 4 grandchildren and 1 granddaughter on the way; several nieces and nephews also remain.
She is preceded in death by her sister.
Ms. Mitchell was a native of Georgia and the daughter of the late Dennis Jones and Patricia Tanner Carol. She was of the Methodist faith.
