A 5 vehicle accident occurred Wednesday morning at the intersection of Broad Street and Burton Street in Henagar.
Police Chief Randell Smith told WEIS Radio News a DeKalb County Deputy was injured in the mishap. According to the Chief, the Officer was answering a call on a “shots fired” incident when the accident happened.
The deputy was injured along with another person. Both were transported to hospitals for treatment.
The accident happened at 10:42 a.m.
