Linda Royce Steele, age 73 of Fort Payne passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2025.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025 at 3:00PM in Walker’s Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Ben McCurdy officiating, the family will receive friends from 1:30PM until 2:30PM Tuesday Perry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will include Dalton Laws, Thomas Ledford, Austin Brozio, Matthew Norris, Jonathon Poole and Triston Poole.
She is survived by her children, Tammy Brozio (Russ), Angie Laws, Tracy Ledford (Michael), Lawrence Steele, Jr. (Crystal) and Thomas Steele; siblings, Bobby Ashley, Austin Ashley, Brenda Hockaday and Dorothy Whidden; 14 grandsons and 2 granddaughters; 7 great grandsons and 3 great granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence James Steele; daughter, Patricia Ann; brothers, Earnest Ashley and Raymond Ashley; grandson, Thomas Devon; parents, Rev. John Austin and Doris Ashley; son-in-law, Jerrod Laws.
