Just after 6pm Saturday, Central Dispatch received a 9-1-1 call about a house fire on county road 71. The Mt.Weisner Fire Department along with Centre and Ellisville were dispatched to the blaze. When firemen arrived on the scene, the house was fully involved. Firefighters were on the scene until 7:45 extinguishing the blaze. The home was a total loss.
